Ⅱ US war of aggression on Iran and proletarian standpoint

(1) The most criminal war of aggression in the history and steadfastly resisting Iranian people

On February 28, US imperialists and Israel suddenly started war of aggression on Iran, with air-raid by missiles and fighters, killing Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and other members, destroying military and nuclear sites, oil-related facilities, and further civilian facilities such as schools, hospitals and housings, in a word, indiscriminate bombings and massacre. Claiming that Iran had continued to develop its nuclear weapon program and pretending to continue negotiations over the nuclear issues with Iran, US Trump and Israeli Netanyahu have attempted to destroy once for all the core of the Iranian state system and military forces by launching a dirty trick of aggressive war.

To confront this imperialist war of aggression with unprecedented criminality, Iran has instantly responded with the closure of the Strait of Hormuz and launched drastic military counterattack. Ballistic missiles and drones from Iran continuously hit Israel, which boasts an “impregnable” Iron Dome and US bases in the Middle Eastern countries and there were also casualties among US. troops. While propagating that the Iranian air defense system has been demolished, the US has one-sidedly repeated bombings and massacre. But actually, US fighter F15s were shot down “for the first time” and the airplanes, which were engaged in the rescue operation of the pilots of the shot F15 fighters, were also lost.

As counterattack to the US bombings to the Iranian oil facilities, equivalent revenge measures have been taken to the oil facilities of those gulf countries which are allied with the US and Israel in the war of aggression.

It is a legitimate war of defense for the Iranian people to fight back in many ways including the closure of the Strait of Hormuz against the US-Israeli war of aggression. Shame on those who describe the Iranian counter-attack as “exchange of attacks”! It is like a comparison of the assault of armed robbery with the desperate fightback of the assaulted victims.

The US has underestimated the development in anticipating no significant countermeasure from the Iranian side such as the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, which would result in strangling the Iranians themselves, expecting to corner them militarily and force them to surrender. But the outcome has exposed the contrary: it was not the Iranians but US Trump who has been cornered and strangled. Trump, totally embarrassed, has begun to shout and scream, threatening Iranians with the vicious words even exceeding those of Hitler, like, “We’re going to bring them back to the Stone Age, where they belong.” etc. He attempted to make Iran surrender, warning every power plant and every bridge will be decimated if they do not obey US demands, in a more wicked way than any “terrorists”, whom imperialists have loudly denounced.

It has been proved that US decision to launch such an overall assault would inevitably drive Iran for more desperate counterattack and the oil supply through the Strait of Hormuz would be cut off and US economy, imperialist world economy, would suffer a devastating blow by the inevitable soaring oil prices and rising inflation. Though the US has become the world biggest oil-producing country since the Shale Revolution in the late 2000s and is no more dependent on the Middle Eastern oil, the inevitable tightening of global oil supply and demand as a result of the closure of the Strait of Hormuz would immediately affect the US. Especially for the US, which is a highly automobile-dependent gas-guzzling society, rising gas prices will spark the dissatisfaction and anger of people toward the government.

Consequently, Trump, unable to step in for an all-out attack, has decided to agree to 2 weeks’ ceasefire on April 7 through the mediation of Pakistan and negotiated with Iran on April 11 for “the end of the battle”, but the talks finally broke down. There was no room for a compromise between US imperialism that demanded Iran’s complete surrender (abandoning of nuclear program and complete opening of the Strait of Hormuz) and Iran that insisted on the control of the Strait of Hormuz and guarantee of no more attack on Iran and payment of damages.

Thereafter the US has bolstered its military forces, including deployment of three aircraft carriers and launched a maritime “counter-blockade” against Iran. Further, the US fired at an Iranian cargo ship that tried to break through the blockade and ordered the marine corps (the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit stationed in Okinawa) to seize it. While exercising such military pressure in the name of punishing “breach of the ceasefire”, the US urged Iran “to restart the negotiation for the second time or the battle will be continued”.

It is impossible, however, for Iran to accept such demand of the US, which has historically trampled Iran for many times and repeated outrageous aggression and massacre. Fundamentally there is no reason for Iran to make concession to the US, the one-sided aggressor. Iran firmly believes that it is not Iran who is on the brink, but the US.

Trump stated that there would be no extension of the ceasefire deadline, which had been set for the 22nd and warned that a lot of bombs were are ready to explode. But finally on April 21, Trump declared to extend further the ceasefire till the day when “Iran presents a proposal”, while on the other hand, naval blockade against Iran is continued as a battle. It is evidently impossible, however, to put Iran on starvation siege only by means of the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz. The urgent issue is how long the US can endure.

This is the present situation till today (April 23). It is US Trump that is driven to the utmost crisis. It is to be noted that imperialism in the extreme crisis is forced to escalate aggressive war in a criminal way as the whole history of imperialism has exposed to us. Now it is the urgent duty for the international proletariat to fight anti-war struggle in solidarity with fighting Iranian people.

(2) The harsh confrontation between US and China on Iran and the counter-revolutionary character on Chinese Stalinism

Why has the US started such an aggressive war on Iran? Since the end of the Second World War, the US has never dared to launch a war of aggression against any major power like Iran, which has a vast territory about four times larger than Japan (a natural fortress, surrounded by mountains ranging from 4,000 to 5,000 meters in height) with currently 92 million population and is proud of its long history since the ancient Persian Empire. In a half century since the revolution in 1979, all of US attempts of counter-revolution, economic and military sanctions and aggression on Iran have been resolutely repelled. It is apparently extravagant to wage an all-out war of aggression on Iran. Well aware of this, the US has refrained from escalating war than bombing of large-caliber bunker-busting bomb by B2 bombers on the Iranian nuclear facilities (Operation Midnight Hammer).

Now, however, the US has stepped in a great war on Iran, while the US is already in a state of waging a full-scale colossal war, a war of aggression on China,

It is an innocent wish, without the recognition of the deep and serious crisis of the US and Trump that such an extravagant war should not and would not happen with a reasoning that “Now US Trump is deeply bogged down with the war of aggression on Iran and can’t spare the resources for Taiwan and China. Xi Jinping is delighted with this situation”.
All the US world policy and war is determined and practiced with the orientation toward the overthrowing of China and war of aggression on China. The basic target of the war of aggression on Venezuela, attempt of overthrowing the Cuban regime, the control of the Western Hemisphere under the name of “Donroe Doctrine”, establishment of US-Israeli control over the Middle East through the Iran war is China. Thus, the US is attempting by the military force and war to drive out China, which has been developing its economic, political and military influence over the Latin America, U.S. Empire’s “backyard” and “sphere of influence”. When the US succeed to overthrow Iran and seize the Strait, it will tighten the noose around China’s neck, which are dependent on the import of oil on the Middle East and the Persian Gulf for 50%.

China is dealing with the US in an open opposition against national liberation struggle

China is confronted with the ongoing US offensive to overthrow the present regime of Iran, a major power, which was established by the victory of national liberation struggle like China (not exactly the same in its content). The US is now mobilizing an enormous military force (More than 40% of the U.S. Navy’s ships deployed worldwide, including three nuclear-powered aircraft carriers, amphibious assault ships, guided-missile cruisers, and destroyers—a total of 27 vessels—and a force of more than 50,000 personnel) all around the Middle East and actually waging war with an aim of blocking oil supply of Iran and other gulf countries to China.

China cannot overlook the collapse of Iran by the US and the establishment of US control of the Strait of Hormuz. The US knows that Iran has attacked US military bases in the Middle East aided by the Chinese satellite information. The US media outlet CNN reported, “China is preparing to deliver new air defense systems to Iran”.

Although China denied this information, Trump indicated that Beijing would face consequences if it sent weapons to Tehran.

The fact is, however, that China is not opposing the US war of aggression on Iran. China has never denounced the criminal UR-Israeli war of aggression as a war of aggression. Instead of calling on the people of the world to join the anti-war struggle in unity with the fighting Iranian people against US-Israeli war of aggression, China proposes a negotiation to both of the US and Iran over the “solution of the conflict by political and diplomatic measure” for maintaining the free flow of traffic through the Strait of Hormuz. What is important for Chinese Stalinism is not at all the ultimate victory of the national liberation and revolutionary war of the people of the Middle East, but the utilization of the Iranian issue as a tool of favorable deal with the U.S. In mid-May, China is ready to welcome US Trump in Beijing to help develop friendly relation between two countries. It is exactly Chinese Stalinism that betrays the world revolution, opposes the national liberation struggle, helps the survival of US imperialism and thus promotes imperialist offensive of a war of aggression on China, a world war, in a word, the worst counter-revolution.

(3) Overthrow imperialism in solidarity with Iranian people realizing the thought of blood debt

The Iranian revolution in 1979 was a great victory of the national liberation struggle, which has overthrown the Pahlavi Dynasty of Iran, a pillar of US Middle Eastern colonial domination, parallel to Israel, by the genuine all-out insurrection of Iranian people (cf. “The world historical significance of the Iranian revolution”, published on issue .225 of the Communist, the quarterly of JRCL).

For US imperialism, the spread of the enormous impact of the Iranian revolution on the Islamic countries and Islamic people was a fatal blow. The core of the US Middle Eastern policy was, therefore, established as the counter-revolutionary overthrow of Iran.

Though the Iranian revolution was a great victory, the path to linking it with the world proletarian revolution was blocked from the very beginning due to the historic betrayal of Stalinism. Among the forces that led to the victory of the Iranian Revolution were left-wing organizations (such as the Mujahideen-e-Khalq and the Fedayeen-e-Khalq) formed by young people and students influenced by Marxism, who waged an armed struggle at the risk of their lives. After the revolution, they were severely suppressed and the revolutionary regime has finally been grasped by Islamic clerics and religious groups centering around Ayatollah Khomeini, thus establishing an “Islamic State”.

For US imperialism, the present regime of Iran, born as “a revolutionary state”, which has overthrown US neo-colonial rule and carries “anti-US and anti-Israel” slogan, is a crack of US rule of the Middle East and the whole world and its existence is absolutely unacceptable. It was followed by the Iran-Iraq war (September 1980 to August 1988), a counter-revolutionary war to eliminate Iran with Iraq as a tool; a series of consequent practices of hostile policy toward Iran; sanctions over nuclear development from the beginning of 2000s; and military pressure and actual bombings by the US and Israel. Though the US has been blaming Iran as “a terrorist state”, it is the US and Israel that have been waging war by aggression, massacre (including the use of chemical weapons during the Iran-Iraq war) and sanctions almost like state lynching.

We, revolutionary communists, should recognize the world historical significance of the Iranian revolution achieved as a victory of the anti-imperialist national liberation, strengthen solidarity with steadfastly fighting Iranian people, who has been waging an unwavering struggle for 47 years against the suppression and attack by the US and Israel to crush revolution and rise up for all-out struggle to turn the imperialist war of aggression on Iran and the Middle East into a civil war.

All this does not mean, of course, that we support the current power and political system of Iran’s religious groups centered on the “revolutionary guards”. We categorically oppose to the political line, which intends to confront imperialist aggression by the development and possession of nuclear, anti-people and anti-human weapon, created by imperialists. Our crucial and essential task is, however, the achievement of the revolution to overthrow imperialism as soon as possible by ourselves, the proletariat in the imperialist countries. We, proletariat in the imperialist countries, have lived the whole historical period since the end of the Second World War, in which the Middle East has suffered colonization and extreme national discrimination, represented especially by the establishment of Israel and US-Israeli suppression of Palestinian people and their liberation struggle, aggression and suppression of the Middle Eastern people. Finally, the neo-colonial control and plunder of oil resources by imperialism have built up the Age of Oil, which the imperialist oppressing nations have been fully enjoying at the sacrifice of the oppressed nations. All these developments require the proletariat of imperialist countries self-criticism and demand to face the problem of the blood debt.

To achieve this task, it is necessary and urgent to overcome and overthrow Stalinism, which has suppressed and crushed national liberation struggles (national liberation / revolutionary wars) of Palestinian, Arab and Iranian people. It was the victory of Russian Revolution of 1917 that originally gave hope to the liberation of the oppressed nations of the whole world, including the Middle East and opened up a huge perspective for the world revolution through the combination of the proletarian revolution in the imperialist countries and the national liberation struggle of the oppressed nations. Lenin presented the problem what is the most urgent for the proletariat who is striving for the victory of world revolution and emphasized the necessity of winning the trust of the oppressed nations both at home and abroad and he stressed therefore “by one’s attitude or by concessions, it is necessary to compensate” to the oppressed nations. (Lenin 1922, The Question of Nationalities or “Autonomisation”, cf. the Communist issue 225, pp.134-137)

As an outrageous betrayal of this fundamental principle, Stalinism abandoned the world revolution, setting the construction of socialism in one country as self-purpose and completely crushed the trust and combinations. Instead of promoting liberation of world proletariat and the oppressed nations, the interest of USSR Stalinism, that is, “socialism in one country” has become the priority, subjugating, utilizing and mobilizing the liberation of the world proletariat and the oppressed nations to it. The Chinese Revolution, the victory of the national liberation and revolutionary war, gave a hope also for the Middle Eastern people and exercised as Maoism certain influence over Palestinian, Arab and Iranian national liberation struggle as well as left-wing organizations. But, Chinese Stalinism, Maoism, too, has only utilized these liberation struggles as tools to defend its own “socialism in one country” and to counter USSR Stalinism, and ended in promoting military cooperation with Israel, sharing surveillance technology over the people’s activity.

The fundamental solution of national, colonial problem is possible only through the way of achieving proletarian world revolution. Concretely: “This struggle in an age of imperialist stage can be realized as the organic and integrated promotion of the achievement of the proletarian revolution of overthrowing imperialism (capitalism) in a close solidarity with ‘the achievement of national liberation struggle (national liberation/revolutionary war)” (Fifth Report of the 19^th GA of JRCL, Communist issue 225, p.129)

Holding firmly the Leninist revolutionary position with the realization of the line of 7-7 (July 7) self-criticism and the thought of blood debt, and deepening, developing and forging it in the actual practice, we, revolutionary communists must overcome Stalinism and carve out the perspectives for revolution through the struggle in which we shed our own blood. Only through fulfilling our mission like this, we can gain the genuine solidarity with Iranian, Palestinian and the whole Middle Eastern and Muslim people and achieve the victory of world revolution.

Let’s fight struggle against the Iran War, the struggle of solidarity with the Palestinian national liberation struggle as a decisive link of struggle “to turn the US imperialist war of aggression on China, a world war, into Anti-Imperialist Anti-Stalinist World Revolution”.

III Create a huge anti-war struggle to stop the war of aggression against China

(1) The meaning of US imperialist war of aggression against China

We have clarified the meaning of US imperialist war of aggression against China in the first slogan out of two in our 10^th National Congress: US imperialism has launched a big war, the war of aggression against China for its life and death. The whole world is on the brink of being dragged into US aggressive war against China, a world war. European, Japanese and all other imperialist countries as well as Russia, China , North Korea etc. are desperately confronting this crisis for their own survival. Right-wingers are screaming against our anti-war demonstrators: “The war provocateurs are Russian, Chinese and North-Koreans.” As is evidently, however, shown by the wars of aggression on Venezuela and Iran, it is US imperialism with Trump at head that is attempting to reorganize the world system after the Second World War by war, actually provoking war all over the world in total negligence of “international law,” “national sovereignty” and “rule of law.”

Nobody can deny this fact. (former) Stalinist countries, such as Russia, China, North Korea and others are the major targets of US war of aggression. They are actually in desperate agony in fear of becoming prey of the US.

To say bluntly, before tackling with the argument that Japan is ready to start war, or ultra-right-wing Takaichi attempts to make Japan a state capable of waging war by the revision of the Article 9 (“peace clause”) of the Constitution etc., the most urgent problem for us is to clarify the serious and imminent task of proletariat of the whole world, including Japan of course, to prevent, in the present stage, the US imperialist drive for the war of aggression against China, a world war, with full-scale mobilization.

It is important to emphasize once again the fact that US imperialism that was the central pillar of the post-war imperialist world system and still holds the largest economic power and overwhelmingly strong military force, has already launched a war of aggression against China, a world war. It is an undeniable fact. It has been actually proved by the exercise of Donroe Doctrine, attempt of control of the Western Hemisphere, started by the war of aggression against Venezuela at the beginning of this year, the war of aggression against Iran, the Ukrainian war since 2022 and the genocide in Gaza since 2023.

All of these developments mean the beginning of the war of aggression against China, a world war, with various wars joining into a single stream. Thus, the outlines of World War III are finally becoming clear as an inevitable process. This is an explosion of the fundamental contradictions of imperialism. As far as imperialism is not overthrown, there is no possibility of easing of these contradictions and of returning to the peace period . Lenin verified this based on the theory of imperialism.

Now we are faced with the war, in which US imperialism and Chinese Stalinism are confronting face to face: A serious crisis of inevitable war, world war, nuclear war, in a word, a world historical grave development is upholding violently. The 10th Congress has solemnly acknowledge this as US imperialist war of aggression against China. Our urgent agenda is to turn the already launched US imperialist war of aggression against China into Anti-Imperialist Anti-Stalinist World Revolution through anti-war struggle against US imperialist war drive. We are now confronted with an urgent situation, in which the achievement of Anti-Imperialist Anti-Stalinist World Revolution, an ultimate goal of our long years endeavor, should be carried out now, not someday. We have confirmed this imminent task without any ambiguity on the 10th Congress.

The US, the central pillar of the post-world war system, is now the arsonist of war

US imperialism established the Post-war Imperialist System centered on itself, by militarily crushing German, Japanese and Italian imperialism through the World War II, further defeating British and French imperialism and overwhelming USSR Stalinism by huge military power and nuclear force and suppressing the post-war revolution and national liberation struggle, helped by USSR Stalinist counter-revolution. US imperialism owes its survival to the Soviet Union’s betrayal of the world revolution. Thus, US imperialism has become the major and the last imperialism, an existence in the transition period from decaying imperialism to communism, an age of its reactionary fixation. We could declare that it is only US imperialism that has been ruling the world in its true sense, practicing imperialist politics by overwhelming military power and actual exercise of military forces, wars, while other imperialist countries have been exhausted by the Second World War.

The fact is that very US imperialism has historically collapsed in 80 years after the Second World War and consequently lost its power of uniting the world under the system with US as its axial pillar. These developments have called in the emergence of Trump with a slogan, America First, by exceeding military power, advanced technologies such as AI, financial and economic power (which is destined to collapse). Trump has begun to force the world to bow down to the interest of US. This is what is meant by peace by force (“not politically correct”)． Now US is dismantling the post-war world system that was established under the leadership of US itself as the essential power and is behaving as a major actor of provoking a world war with an aim of violently reorganizing the world. This is the actual expression of the explosion of the fundamental contradictions of imperialism on the terminal phase. The major opponent or enemy of US to be subdued by force is China.

Chinese Stalinism is also driving toward war for its existential survival

While US imperialism was experiencing a historical decline, US and imperialism as a whole invested a huge volume of capital in China as a way of survival. China on its part accepted it to promote its introduction of capitalism for its survival as Stalinism. This attempt throughout the 1980s, a period of collapse of the post-war world system of imperialism and Stalinism, resulted in an expansion of China into a huge economic power. This development has reached a dangerous level, which threatens the US superiority not only in economic but also technological and military field. For the US, therefore, further China’s expansion is inadmissible.

At the same time, this development has reached its limit for Chinese Stalinism: serious contradictions within the Chinese society, such as youth unemployment rate of 17% (in number, 20 million unemployed) and extreme wealth inequality, are phenomenon hardly be called socialism, while, on the other hand, corruption, hallmarks of the Stalinist bureaucratic system, is rampant. As accumulated dissatisfaction and anger of the people are on the brink of explosion, Chinese Stalinism is now faced with a systemic crisis, almost revolutionary situation. Chinese Stalinism under the Xi Jinping regime is seeking its way of overcoming the crisis by the patriotic and nationalist policy of the “great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation” with a goal of unification of Taiwan and is ready to wage military confrontation with US.

The 10^th Congress has confirmed: It is absolutely necessary to set the overthrow of Stalinism as a task of anti-war struggle to prevent the war of aggression against China as a part of the strategy of Anti-Imperialist Anti-Stalinist World Revolution and Chinese Stalinism, which opposes to the world revolution, should be overthrown. We must seriously watch the reality, in which the crisis of world war is promoted also from the side of Chinese Stalinism. As is stated above, the seriousness of the economic and systemic crisis of Chinese Stalinism is even more grave than in the case of imperialism.

An acrobatic attempt of Chinese Stalinism’s construction of socialism in one country by introducing capitalism has ended in a historic bankruptcy. Stalinism is, however, not just an existence that succumb to imperialism. For its survival, it is ready to take every measures. If necessary for its systemic life extension, it would start war, even go nuclear. Mao Zedong once declared shamelessly that socialism could be reconstructed, even when the lives of a half of its population (at that moment, about 600million) are lost, by the rest half of it. This is the true nature of Stalinism.

Xi Jinping is a personality who worships Mao Zedong and is endeavoring to surpass him. It is possible that Xi Jinping provokes a war on Taiwan and intensifies the on-going war drive, taking into account of the actual process of desperate bankruptcy of Trump in Iran and the Middle East as well at home and judging that it is high time to defeat the US militarily.

The situation has reached the point for imperialism and Stalinism, in which there is no other way for the survival than to launch war because both of imperialism and Stalinism, which have long hindered the road of transition period for world revolution, are thrown into a deep crisis without future. In the midst of all-out explosion and entanglement of the fundamental contradictions of imperialism and Stalinism, The whole world is thrown into an explosive process of the Third World War, as war between imperialism and Stalinism and war of aggression of US imperialism (and all other imperialist powers, including Japan) against China.

Revolutionary Communist League presented in the 6^th Congress in 2001 a world view as follows: “The world today should not be regarded simply as an age of imperialism. It is a world that entered into the transition period for world revolution started by the Russian Revolution in 1917, which broke up a link of chain of imperialist rule of the world and then was deformed into a world system of imperialism and Stalinism by a huge Stalinist reactionary betrayal. That is not the end of the development. Stalinism has finally gone historically bankrupt at the end of 20^th century. The world is now faced with the battle for the redivision among imperialist powers over the issue how to integrate again the collapsed Stalinist system and the remaining Stalinist system into imperialist sphere of influence.”

A quarter of a century since the historical collapse of Stalinism, US war of aggression against China, a world war represents the imminent situation of the world. Now is the time to bring this historic alternative to the end. The road to the Third World War or Anti-Imperialist Anti-Stalinist Proletarian World Revolution.

(2) Mass development of the Grand March against Constitutional Revision and War!

How can we stop US imperialist aggressive war against China, a world war, and turn it into Anti-Imperialist Anti-Stalinist World Revolution? The strategic breakthrough will be surely carried out by the struggle: “Turn the Japanese imperialists invasion of China into a civil war, in solidarity with fighting people of China and Asia!”. This is a second slogan.

US Imperialist war of aggression against China will be waged at the First Island Chain, connecting Japanese archipelago, Okinawa, Nansei Islands, Taiwan, Philippines, (followed by Korea, Australia), as an advance base and battlefield.

Upon this prospect, the joint exercises by Japan-US, Japan-US- Korea, Japan-US-Philippines and Japan-US-Australia have been held over and over. US imperialism presupposes that all of military strength and power of Japanese imperialism among others ought to be mobilized and thrown into it.

As “Taiwan contingency could constitute a survival-threatening situation,” Japan is requested to wage war by shedding blood on the front-line. This is an inevitable demand of US imperialism. If Japan could not do that, Japan would be perished as imperialism.

Taking advantage of this crisis, Japanese imperialism would dare to wage a war of aggression against China at forefront as the last chance to recover the lost territory as defeated imperialism at the sacrifice of Japan becoming bases and battlefields as a whole.

But all of these developments will cause inevitably enormous conflict, friction and contradiction with Okinawa, Hiroshima and Nagasaki people and above all with the Asian people who had experienced Japanese invasion, and also with Asian people now staying in Japan. The situation would explosive. Already, vigorous demonstration all over Japan against Takaichi administration has begun to spread as enormous reaction to the constitutional revision and to war drive, exhibited in fully lifting of the ban on arms export, construction of National Intelligence Agency, Anti-Espionage Bill etc.

In these demonstrations, young generation and female participants have been obviously increasing. But main organizer of these demonstrations is for the time being the Japanese Communist Party and established civic movement groups The situation is like that of the protest actions at the Diet in 2015 against war legislation,

These movements are extension of the movements of peaceful, post war anti-constitutional reversion , defense of Article 9 of the constitution.

That is a movement which does not promote revolution, or rather thwarts revolution against Japanese imperialism itself which has no other way for survival than to thrust into the aggressive war against China. Such kind of movement can never prevent the constitutional reversion and drive for war after all.

We must wage mass party struggle against the Stalinist Japanese Communist Party and all other proponents of imperialism at all areas, workplaces, schools, streets, other sites of struggle and everywhere. And we must explain these people, especially youth, students and female, width and depth of revolutionary situation (opening of war of aggression against China, world war, by the US), and urge them to be active in the revolutionary movement (anti-war struggle to stop aggressive war against China, to stop the constitutional revision as a part of it). We will construct Grand March Movement, National Coordination Center of Labor Unions, Zengakuren and the Party.

By raising up a flag to stop the war of aggression against China, we are really needed now to win a leap forward and development of the Grand March Movement. If we really want to stop the constitutional revision and war, there is no other way than to struggle under the slogan of “in solidarity with the fighting Chinese and Asian peoples, turn Japanese Imperialist war of aggression against China into a civil war!,” and to overthrow Japanese imperialism and to achieve a victory of Anti-Imperialist Anti-Stalinist World Revolution. If we seriously discuss this issue, we will surely gain the support of the masses.

Now ongoing Takaichi government’s policies are: double or triple increase of military spending, larger scale deployment of enemy base strike capabilities, long-range missiles that can strike China, complete lifting of the ban on arms exports, cultivating of military industry, strengthening of war sustainability, foundation of National Intelligence Agency etc.

Now the constitutional revision (clear inscription of the Self -Defense Forces in Article 9 and introducing an emergency clause) is discussed quite openly as a normal issue, and so Prime Minister Takaichi has declared in the LDP convention that this motion would be proposed next year.

Why has this situation been made? The reasons are that the US has begun to wage war against China and Japan is set on its forefront, and Japan itself has been engaged in this war as its own serious issue for its desperate survival.

We must expose these things to the people who has been rising up. And we must smash these baseless explanations: the security environment is becoming even severer and deterrence to defend peaceful Japan is needed.

Let’s organize and bring about explosion of anti-war struggle! Stop constitutional revision! Stop war of aggression on China “dividing public opinion”!

Let’s organize national all-out rally and demonstration to the prime minister’s office on June 14 for stopping aggressive war on China and overthrowing Takaichi administration, appealed by Grand March Movement as a historical starting!

(3) Crush Anpo (US-Japan Security Treaty) and overthrow Japanese imperialism now through the explosion of anger of Okinawa!

The major focus of the struggle to stop the war of aggression against China is the Okinawa struggle. What is now required of Okinawa struggle is not a simple continuation of the Anpo/Okinawa struggle since the decisive battle around 1970 but a life-or-death leap to the struggle to prevent the war of aggression against China. Japanese imperialism is fortifying US bases in Okinawa and intensifying military exercises, followed by a large-scale strengthening of the Japan’s Self-Defense Forces, upgrading ground Self-Defense Force 15th Brigade15 to a division, conversion into missile bases, construction of the Henoko base in total negligence of spreading opposition (huge base construction in Okinawa by the hands of Japanese imperialism), continuation of existence of Futenma base (in unity with the long time construction of Henoko base). Without considering the promise to “reduce the burden (of US bases) on the people of Okinawa,” Japanese imperialism is, together with US imperialism, thrusting Okinawa into a military fortress. Its final aim is to transform Japan as a whole into Okinawa.

All the political factions represented by the Social Democratic Party and the Communist Party that participated in All Okinawa Kaigi have completely succumbed to this serious situation of Okinawa. It is impossible to carry out the Okinawa struggle without the stand point to oppose the war of aggression against China, which is already started by US and Japanese imperialism, the political line to turn US and Japanese imperialist war of aggression against China into civil war, crushing the position of national defense and patriotism in solidarity with the fighting Chinese people and the revolutionary platform of Anti-Imperialist Anti-Stalinist World Revolution.

Let us stand up, with the Okinawa prefecture committee of JRCL at the head, for the explosion of May 15 Okinawa struggle under the slogan, Stop the war of aggression against China! Remove all the bases! Crush Japan-US Security Treaty and overthrow Japanese imperialism!, confirmed by the 10^th congress of JRCL. If we succeed to organize a powerful mass contingents with revolutionary party, youth and students at the head to crush all reactionary, counter-revolutionary forces and the state power which are assaulting Okinawa under the war situation against China, accumulated and deep-rooted indignation of the workers and people in Okinawa against bases and war will inevitably explode in a huge scale. The explosion of Okinawa struggle will open up a perspective for the combination of Japanese and Chinese revolution, which have the essential role in achieving the victory of world revolution. Okinawa struggle to crush the base of the US and Japanese war of aggression against China stands at the forefront of the struggle to turn the Japanese war of aggression against China into civil war in solidarity with the fighting Chinese and Asian people.

Let us confirm once again that it is our imperative to carry out Anti-Imperialist Anti-Stalinist World Revolution not someday but NOW, as all the contradictions inherent to imperialism and Stalinism have begun to explode as is expressed in US war of aggression against China, a world war.

To accomplish this task, we have made a new start of JRCL, which could be called a new creation or the second foundation of a party, destroying the old party. No retreat is admissible.

Let us go forward for the achievement of Anti-Imperialist Anti-Stalinist World Revolution through carrying out two major slogans and political line, established in the 10^th congress of JRCL: Stop US imperialist war of aggression against China and carry out Anti-Imperialist Anti-Stalinist World Revolution Turn Japanese imperialist war of aggression against China into civil war in solidarity with fighting Chinese and Asian people!
