日米共同の「星野解放」アピール発せられる

　星野さんを取り戻そう！全国再審連絡会議とアメリカ・星野解放委員会は、星野文昭さんへの懲罰を止め、直ちに釈放せよという共同のメッセージを世界に発信した。
　２・５徳島刑務所包囲デモを大爆発させ、再審無罪・星野釈放へ驀進しよう。（Ｋ）

　世界の友人のみなさんへ、
　日本の政治犯ホシノ・フミアキに対する不当な懲罰を止めろ！
　ホシノ面会の不当な制限を許すな！ホシノを直ちに釈放せよ！
 

　ホシノ・フミアキは、37年間の長きに渡り政治犯として獄中にある。
　彼は、沖縄返還協定に反対する1971年の東京での集団抗議闘争において、警察と政府によって一警官の殺害をでっち上げられた。そして、この協定によってアメリカは、沖縄に米軍を駐留させ、核の持ち込みを許容されている。
　ホシノに関わる証言は作られたものであり、警官の死亡にホシノは何らなしうることはなかったことを示すビデオは「紛失」させられた。
　そしてまた、一人の女性教師がこの日の闘いの過程で虐殺された。
　ジャーナリストたちが徳島刑務所のホシノとの面会に赴いたが、ホシノが帝国主義戦争、沖縄の米軍による占拠、日本中の軍事基地に対し反対し続けていることを理由に、刑務所長マツモト・タダヨシによって面会が許されず追い返された。
　アメリカ・ホシノ解放委員会は、ホシノ面会の制限を無くし、ホシノに他の囚人と同等の権利を求める国際キャンペーンを開始した。
　また、私たち、星野さんをとり戻そう！　全国再審連絡会議はホシノの即時釈放と、日本における労働者階級と反戦活動家に対する政治的弾圧の停止を呼びかけている。
　星野さんをとり戻そう！　全国再審連絡会議とアメリカ・ホシノ解放委員会は、ここに共同で以下の呼びかけを行う。

Stop Punishing Japan Political Prisoner Fumiaki Hoshino!
Oppose Japan Government's Limit of Hoshino's Visitors And Free Hoshino!
Fumiaki Hoshino has been a political prisoner in Japan for 37 years. He was framed up by the police and government for murdering a policeman in 1971 during a mass protest in Tokyo against the Okinawa Reversion Agreement. This allowed continued US military forces in Okinawa and also the right of the US to bring nuclear weapons into Okinawa.
The evidence against Hoshino was contrived and even a video disappeared which would have shown that Hoshino had
nothing to do with the death of the policeman. A women educator trade unionist was also killed by the police.
Journalists and others have sought to visit Hoshino in the Tokushima prison but have been turned away by the prison warden
Mr. Tadayoshi Matsumoto in retaliation for Hoshino's continued opposition to imperialist war and the US occupation of Okinawa
and bases throughout Japan.
The US Committee To Free Hoshino is launching an international campaign to call on the right of Hoshino to eliminate the limit of visitors to see him in prison and for equal rights for all prisoners. We also are calling for the immediate release of Hoshino and an end to political repression in Japan against working class and anti-war activists.
 Hoshino Defense Committee in Japan and US Committee to Free Hoshino are jointly calling for the followings;
1. Stop punishing Japan political prisoner Fumiaki Hoshino!
2. Oppose Japan government's limit of Hoshino's visitors!
3. Immediately free Hoshino!
4. End to political repression in Japan against working class and anti-war activists!
